302.sh Free also has a separate cap of 50 owned links. Deleting a link frees ownership space, but does not refund its monthly creation allowance. Dub's monthly new-link allowance is a different measure from total links owned.

Creator can own up to 500 links at a time, even though it has no monthly creation cap. The optional annual subscription is $84 paid yearly (about $7/month). The comparison above uses monthly subscriptions on both sides.

Consider Dub when…
You need more new links or custom domains without paying: Free includes 25 new links per month and 3 custom domains. Pro may suit you if you need 1 year of history, up to 10 domains and 50,000 tracked events per month.
Check the workflow before you print
A QR code can keep the same short URL while you change the destination behind it. We tested this in a 302.sh Creator account: saved the original QR image, changed only the target, then decoded the same image and opened its URL again. Our guide includes the screenshots, observed update delay and limits of that test. Editable destinations and QR codes are common short-link capabilities; this demonstrates our workflow.

In 302.sh, reaching the analytics allowance pauses additional tracking, while redirects continue. Owner-set expiration or click limits, deletion, and safety enforcement can still stop a link. Keep the domain and slug unchanged when maintaining a printed code.
